When climate change causes the emergence of a new social organization.

The populations are gathered in a huge agglomeration, entirely organized to live sheltered from solar radiation. This “Gigapolis” is administered by an opaque government that controls information and the slightest movement of people. Matthieu, a journalist out of inspiration, comes across a short article about a gifted student: Lazare Méradec. While trying to retrace his history, he discovers the existence of populations who refused to evacuate the supposedly uninhabitable areas. Starting from scratch, these “Communities of the Interior” created a new form of networked society that is now struggling for its independence.
